Yes Steve I share your frustration and so much more. 40+ hours and many many long long phone calls to finally get a fraudulent FEMA application cleared and a new one filed. 2 hours on a cell phone to get my internet service transferred to my new cubbyhole ADU. Everything reactive to demands made by government agencies that were not there to help when I needed it most. The army corps of engineers ready to roll over my property, possessions and all without giving me time to remove or store any of it on my own property. This SUCKS and I HATE Altadena liberals and the government. HATE THEM!
Cannot adequately express sorrow for you and your wife. Can rejoice in the years you have had together in paradise, a blessing many have never experienced. Whatever happened to civil rights groups coming in and helping with class action lawsuits to protect communities? Somehow, someway, praying you will find someone with backbone to appeal to the courts for an emergency supercedeas citing irreparable harm to the entire community.
